Old World Stone LLC
Robert Cocozzella, President of Old World Stone, LLC, has been in the stone business for over 30 years. His father and grandfather both owned and operated stone contracting companies in Italy and the United States. They worked at various historical sites in Washington, D.C. and gained notoriety as true craftsmen in the area. With the skills that Robert acquired from working with his father, he founded Old World Stone, LLC in 1997. Old World Stone is a family run business – Robert’s daughter Eva manages the office and his son Michael is a field supervisor.
Old World Stone employs masons and laborers who work as a team to help make the visions of our clients come to life. Excavation is done by hand to avoid any possible property damage. Cement is also mixed by hand and stone is typically cut with a hammer and chisel. Old World Stone’s masons are highly skilled craftsmen who remain true to the art form of stone and brick masonry. Our employees take extreme pride and care in every project – no matter how small or large the job.
